📋 Description

• Lead mechanical systems readiness for new capacity and ongoing reliability • Provide commissioning oversight and validate mechanical system performance and control sequences • Track and close defects and punch-list items before and during commissioning • Develop and conduct commissioning for infrastructure projects at operational datacenters • Validate operational procedures after turnover and before customer load deployment • Standardize mechanical turnover documentation and ensure repository storage • Verify operator training and readiness for Day 1 operations • Conduct site physicals and infrastructure assessments focused on mechanical reliability, efficiency, and risk • Drive closure of mitigation plans • Document field changes and communicate operational impacts to receiving teams • Close readiness gaps before hand-off • Coordinate with Design & Construction, Commissioning, Site Operations, and Reliability Engineering • Evaluate processes and procedures and suggest improvements to data center design and equipment operations

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in mission-critical facilities • Depth in chilled-water plants, CRAH/CRAC, heat rejection, and control systems/BMS • Working fluency with ASHRAE TC9.9 guidance • Knowledge of codes/standards for hydronics and ventilation • Experience with commissioning methodologies • Hands-on experience with submittal reviews, sequence of operations, functional performance testing, and punch-list closeout • Strong documentation discipline and stakeholder communication • Ability to drive multi-site mechanical programs • Strong analytical skills • Experience with CMMS, DCIM/BMS integrations, and incident/RCA processes • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience • Ability to work in mechanical/electrical rooms around energized systems while following LOTO and NFPA 70E • Ability to support 24×7 operations • Preferred PMP, AHRAE certifications, or PE
