📋 Description

• Own Mimo’s context layer, including system context, retrieval, and memory as one budget • Define contracts, results, and failure modes for tools called by Mimo • Build offline evaluation suites, graded live passes, and regression gates for behavior changes • Shape how Mimo reasons, asks, explains, and recovers • Define rules users can set for their own Mimo • Decide which model runs where and establish release gates for new models • Work with the CTO and engineers building Mimo’s tools • Evaluate changes against the physical outputs Mimo produces

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building agent systems in production, including tool use, multi-step loops, streaming, and failure recovery • Experience designing evaluation suites, regression gates, and human review processes • Experience with context engineering, including prompts, retrieval, and memory managed as one budget • Experience designing reliable tool contracts, schemas, results, and errors • Python proficiency • Either experience with a large production codebase with a strict test baseline or a published benchmark built by the candidate • Clear technical writing • US work authorization required • Must not require visa sponsorship • May require US-person status for export-control compliance • No degree requirement
