📋 Description
• Provide direct virtual instruction and consultation services to students with visual impairments • Develop and implement individualized instructional plans aligned with each student's IEP • Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, related service providers, and families • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning • Monitor student progress and maintain timely, accurate documentation • Complete required service logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation • Communicate regularly with district personnel regarding student needs and progress
🎯 Requirements
• Valid Texas certification as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) • Experience working with school-aged students with visual impairments • Previous virtual or teletherapy experience is preferred but not required • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team • Reliable high-speed internet and a private workspace suitable for telepractice
