📋 Description

• Build strong customer relationships and maintain retention by consulting with customers on products and services • Collaborate with internal and external business contacts to resolve customer issues and enhance customer experience and coverage offerings • Review daily reports for claims that should apply to OCIP • Review and log related automatic Central Reporting reports • Create and maintain email and shared claims folders for incident-related information • Assist in setting up OCIP claims as needed • Review and correct assigned projects and employers for claims in TPA RMIS • Develop and maintain claims-handling process documents • Update OCIP incident logs by project • Review incidents not in TPA RMIS and ensure appropriate reporting and handling • Follow up with projects and contractors to obtain data for claim setup and management • Summarize claims activity for Risk Management and create monthly reports • Ensure the FELA process is followed • Enter daily funding into the captive insurance company bank worksheet and prepare monthly funding requirements • Consolidate captive and TPA accounts monthly • Review TPA invoices for accuracy and provide them to Risk Management • Help coordinate severe incident defense response for OCIP claims • Perform contract review related to OCIP projects

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of insurance claims experience in workers compensation and liability • Ideally experience with Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIPs), Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIPs), or construction insurance • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, risk management or a related subject • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational, multitasking, relationship-building and problem solving skills • High integrity, teamwork focus, eagerness to learn • Experience in the construction, transportation or claims spaces • FELA experience is a plus but not required
