📋 Description

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications. • Work directly with inventors and engineers to understand complex technologies and develop strong patent claims. • Prepare Office Action responses and manage applications throughout prosecution. • Assist clients with patent strategy and portfolio development. • Develop and expand client relationships. • Work on quantum computing and emerging technology patents. • Interact directly with inventors, founders, engineers, and technology companies. • Grow an existing client base within an established technology patent practice.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of substantive patent preparation and prosecution experience. • Demonstrated experience drafting and prosecuting quantum computing patent applications. • Cybersecurity, cryptography, semiconductor, or sophisticated software patent experience strongly preferred. • B.S. or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. • USPTO registration required. • Strong patent drafting, technical writing, and client communication skills. • Some portable patent prosecution business preferred.
