β’ Serve as a trusted HR advisor to client owners, executives, leaders, and managers β’ Develop an understanding of each client's business, operations, organizational structure, workforce, financial drivers, and strategic priorities β’ Provide practical HR recommendations considering business objectives, operational needs, financial impact, employee experience, and organizational risk β’ Advise and coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, workplace conflict, investigations, corrective action, terminations, and employee communications β’ Interpret and apply employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices β’ Partner with clients on workforce planning, organizational development, retention, engagement, talent strategies, and leadership development β’ Identify HR trends, workforce risks, and opportunities and recommend appropriate action β’ Support organizational changes, restructures, leadership transitions, and other workforce initiatives β’ Conduct or support workplace investigations and ensure documentation and follow-up β’ Monitor HR compliance and recommend corrective action β’ Develop and deliver HR training and manager education β’ Partner with recruiting, operations, and other internal teams to provide comprehensive HR support β’ Maintain accurate and confidential employee, client, and business records β’ Escalate significant employee relations, compliance, or business risks to the HR Services Director β’ Manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment β’ Travel to client locations for meetings, training, investigations, and other business needs
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field β’ 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or comparable experience β’ SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification, or willingness to obtain certification within the first year β’ Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices β’ Strong business acumen and ability to connect people, operations, financial performance, customer needs, and business strategy β’ Demonstrated experience advising managers and senior leaders on complex employee and workforce matters β’ Strong coaching, communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills β’ Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters β’ Ability to build trusted relationships with leaders, managers, employees, and clients β’ Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and virtual collaboration tools β’ Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment β’ Ability and willingness to travel locally approximately 50% of the time β’ Dedicated workspace and reliable internet β’ Ability to work effectively virtually and in person β’ Ability to work at a computer for extended periods β’ Ability to communicate effectively by phone, video, email, and in person β’ Ability to occasionally lift or move materials up to 10 pounds
