📋 Description

• Support the MGO CFO and leadership team in evaluating business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving accountability • Provide data-driven insights for strategic and operational decision-making using Excel, SQL, and AI tools • Partner with Growth Marketing, Product, Pricing, and other cross-functional teams to analyze customer acquisition, conversion, volume, revenue, and profitability • Contribute to business cases for digital initiatives, marketing campaigns, corridor and market expansion, and product launches • Support annual planning, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning for MoneyGram Online • Maintain and enhance driver-based financial models • Deliver variance analysis with performance commentary and recommended actions • Develop KPIs and dashboards tracking funnel performance, app and web conversion, and unit economics • Prepare Monthly Business Review materials, reporting packs, and executive summaries • Analyze financial, operational, and digital engagement data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities • Develop automated, scalable reporting solutions using SQL-based queries and dashboards • Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting systems • Partner with Accounting and Corporate FP&A on month-end close, accruals, revenue recognition, and marketing cost allocations • Support financial governance, business case review, and internal controls • Assist with Oracle, Essbase, and Cognos systems and data submissions • Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI-enabled tools, and standardization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field • 4–7+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles • Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, e-commerce, or another digital/transaction-driven business model preferred • Experience supporting a digital, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer online channel finance team is a plus • Strong analytical and modeling skills • Solid understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and variance analysis • Proficient in SQL, including independently writing queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets • Working knowledge of AI and automation tools such as Claude and ChatGPT • Proficiency in Oracle, Essbase, Cognos, or similar financial systems and data tools • Advanced Excel skills • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities • Strong communication and presentation skills in English • High attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture
