📋 Description

• Deliver expert-level technical assistance, system optimization, and detailed documentation for specialized communication frameworks • Manage sophisticated RF and Broadband architectures alongside critical network infrastructure • Perform on-site infrastructure enhancements and resolve intricate technical issues for public safety clients • Maintain accurate and current as-built documentation • Provide advanced technical support for specialized systems and product applications • Troubleshoot software-driven electronics and optimize RF and Broadband architecture performance • Program, configure, optimize, test, and document complex communications systems • Develop and implement solutions for technical challenges during system implementation, upgrades, or support activities • Perform preventative maintenance routines, trend analysis, and meticulous documentation • Submit comprehensive weekly reports detailing activities and accomplishments • Install, configure, and maintain computer networks, including cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, and bridges • Install server hardware, operating systems, and software infrastructure; troubleshoot system and application issues • Work with legacy analog, advanced digital P25, and data infrastructure • Support systems involving consoles, channel banks, T1 circuits, computer IP networks, RF infrastructure, logging recording systems, and wired/wireless communications equipment • Travel extensively to Department of Defense locations across the United States

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be able to travel 75%; travel requirements exceed 75% • Candidates will preferably reside in Arizona • 3–5+ years in RF communications, IP networking, and server administration, with a focus on installation and troubleshooting • Experience with LMR systems, P25 trunked/conventional systems, and Motorola G-Series base stations • Experience with LAN/WAN IP networks, including Cisco or Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls • Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi v6/v7+, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Red Hat Linux • Familiarity with Motorola consoles, channel banks, and KMF/KVL encryption devices • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or 3+ years of equivalent experience • Basic requirement: Bachelor’s Degree OR 3+ years of experience in LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Military, Server Administration, Motorola equipment, IT Systems, Telecommunications, Public Safety, Engineering or Networking equipment • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA are highly desirable • Proficiency with RF test equipment such as Viavi 3920B or Anritsu S412E analyzers • Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer work permit sponsorship is not available • Must successfully pass a stringent fingerprint background check under the CJIS Security Policy • Ability to troubleshoot Windows Server 2012–2022 and SQL databases • Knowledge of wired communications systems (LAN/WAN), standard telephony, dedicated data circuits, and packet switching techniques • Proficiency with Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access • Knowledge of RF systems, transmitters, receivers, and antenna networks • Proficiency using communications test equipment • Strong self-management and self-motivation skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to quickly solve customer problems in high-stress situations
