📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to start up, commission, safely troubleshoot, and repair Data Center equipment • Work independently while managing onsite projects for startup commissioning • Coordinate other trades and services onsite • Perform factory startup, commissioning, warranty, and billable service on Munters Data Center equipment and systems • Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property • Respond promptly to customer and management service requests • Provide customer training on Munters equipment • Provide technical feedback using detailed field service reports • Provide immediate response to customer needs as part of the Field Service team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and extensive knowledge in the Mechanical field specifically the HVAC field • Frequent travel required, up to 90%, across the USA by plane and car • Extensive knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, able to diagnose electrical issues with proficiency and record data • Knowledge of all safety procedures and requirements and training in Arc flash, lock out tag out and other safety requirements • Understanding and ability to utilize all PPE associated with electrical safety • Extensive refrigeration knowledge; ability to pressure test, evacuate, and charge systems without assistance • Ability to fully troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration problems • Proficient in brazing and soldering • Holds a universal refrigeration card • Extensive knowledge in Controls, with experience troubleshooting, programming, or downloading to control systems • Understanding of PLCs and ability to work with all types of platforms • Ability to access PLC information, adjust PLCs, and connect to PLCs with a computer to communicate and make changes • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently • Ability to communicate well with site personnel, Sales PM, Service Manager, and Technical Support personnel • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment • Ability to travel and be away from home for several days at a time • Willingness to take on-call duties as required • Willingness to occasionally work weekends and/or holidays • Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions • Willingness and ability to work 6 feet or more above the ground as required • All offers contingent on a pre-employment drug test and background check, as applicable • State Licensed Master HVAC mechanic is optional
