📋 Description

• Assist with and independently lead virtual trainings for volunteer captains across the country • Bring energy and personality to virtual trainings to engage volunteers • Assist in designing and refining training content and materials with the Training Manager • Independently lead 2–4 live virtual trainings in a day across dozens of states and hundreds of counties • Adapt training delivery to rural and exurban volunteer audiences • Support office hours and peer learning sessions for captains • Maintain a flexible training schedule, including evenings and weekends during peak season • Gather and relay training feedback to continuously improve the curriculum • Report to the Distributed Neighborhood Captains Training Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Outgoing, charismatic, and comfortable presenting to a virtual audience • Experience in theater, podcasting, teaching, customer service, food service, or similar performance/people-facing work • Time-flexible and reliable, able to commit to a varied training schedule including evenings and weekends • Strong communication and facilitation skills • Experience facilitating on virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) • Adaptable and proactive, comfortable adjusting on the fly • Genuine enjoyment of teaching, coaching, or public speaking • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States • No sponsorship available • Volunteer management or prior organizing experience is a plus but not required • Rural community experience or familiarity is a plus, but not required
