📋 Description

• Provide proactive maintenance services including infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, motor circuit analysis, oil sampling, and/or vibration analysis • Use industry-approved repeatable testing methods, standardized MRES analysis procedures, and approved reporting programs • Prepare, analyze, and communicate test results to customers • Provide immediate on-site recommendations and follow-up report analysis • Follow MRES standard operating procedures for on-site service delivery • Follow MRES, industry, and customer safety requirements and applicable safety policies • Develop and enhance relationships with current and potential customers • Promote proactive maintenance services by educating members and customers on program benefits • Represent MRES on industry, development, and project committees, task forces, and conferences as assigned • Create and help maintain permanent documentation of projects, data, and software • Travel to customer sites, which constitutes the majority of the position, including several overnight stays per month • Keep abreast of relevant professional, industry, and inter-utility developments

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • One year related experience and/or training in mechanical and/or electrical experience in the commercial or industrial maintenance field and/or proactive maintenance related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations • Knowledge of database software • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook • Knowledge of contact management systems and Internet software • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license • Must have a Level I certification in infrared thermography, ultrasonic detection, motor testing, and/or other services approved by MRES management, or ability to obtain within six months of hire; or a Vibration Analyst Category I certification, or ability to obtain within one year of hire • Ability to travel by motor vehicle, work at customer sites, and stay overnight several times per month
