📋 Description

• Support clinical leads, abstractors, and clients with quality tasks • Orient the abstraction team to medical records • Perform initial re-abstractions for new abstraction team additions (Greenlighting) • Provide abstractor re-education to drive quality outcomes and improve technology use • Manage and perform weekly ongoing IRR to completion and quality standards • Assist with fallout reviews and second looks • Assist with case abstraction assignment at the Team Leader’s direction • Perform harvest submission as needed • Attend client calls as required • Complete assigned abstractions • Keep PHI secure and confidential

🎯 Requirements

• Abstraction experience and in-depth knowledge of the assigned service line • Proven quality on two or more trauma partners, including at least one Level 1, for a minimum of 6 months • AIS 15 • ATS Class • ICD-10 training within the past 5 years • Current TQIP Education • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office • Exposure to multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases • Passion for training others and providing effective, constructive feedback • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment • Excellent organizational skills and ability to navigate ambiguity • Responsibility for keeping PHI secure and confidential • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; preferred • CAISS preferred, not required
