📋 Description

• Represent Medtronic during surgical procedures by ensuring equipment and products are available • Provide technical support, device selection, programming, and testing of device systems • Manage patients through all phases of the clinical process and educate them on Medtronic products • Provide clinical support during surgeries, re-programmings, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics • Respond to technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues • Maintain knowledge of competitive products • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on products and therapies • Assist management and Sales Training with training new district employees • Complete required event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technology tools • Place customer-service orders for pending purchase orders and product replacements • Collect purchase orders for covered cases • Manage inventory, including transactions, cycle counts, product retrievals, and expiration/hold controls • Contribute to quarterly district, regional, and national initiative goals • Partner with sales representatives to achieve territory and district business goals • Visit accounts to replenish literature and maintain office-staff relationships • Use Excel, mobile devices, iPad, laptop, and Samsung tablet • Manage business expenses and budgets • Complete therapy trainings and comply with applicable quality policies • Cover clinical events across the district and occasionally neighboring districts

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Associate’s Degree plus a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or Bachelor’s degree • Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field preferred • Registered nurse or HCP experience in a sterile environment preferred • Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care preferred • Experience servicing medical personnel on product use preferred • Medical device or pharmaceutical company experience preferred • Clinical experience in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, operating room, pain management, or home health care preferred • Basic understanding of reimbursement and the healthcare environment preferred • Ability to use healthcare universal precautions • Ability to serve as primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, including weekends, evenings, nights, and overnight travel • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction outside clinical events • Ability to attend meetings and training as requested • Ability to wear a 7–9 lb protective lead apron for extended periods • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and balance frequently • Required close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus • Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy required • Driving record will be reviewed • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at hire and throughout employment • Foreign baccalaureate degrees must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) requirements
