• Engage with national and regional Scientific Leaders to provide company-approved medical and scientific information • Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain medical contact with Scientific Leaders • Address scientific questions and direct out-of-scope inquiries to appropriate company resources • Maintain current knowledge of the scientific and clinical environment in the therapeutic area • Discuss research strategies, study concepts, scientific merit, and investigator qualifications with potential investigators • Enhance understanding of investigator-sponsored research foundations and goals • Identify barriers to patient enrollment and retention • Recommend study sites and identify investigators for Phase II-IV clinical development programs • Conduct Site Initiation Visits and serve in protocol lead responsibilities with Global Clinical Trial Operations • Address investigator questions about company-sponsored clinical studies • Engage at scientific congresses and medical meetings and facilitate scientific and data exchange • Gather scientific insights and feedback from Scientific Leaders and/or patients • Serve as a role model and contribute to an inclusive workforce • Liaise between the scientific community and the Company to support approved, in-development, and sponsored research studies
• Must reside within the Chicago territory covering Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and South Dakota • Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory • Required PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD • Minimum 3 years of relevant therapeutic-area experience beyond the terminal degree program, such as COPD/Respiratory • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills • Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders • Strong scientific education and dialogue focus • Thorough understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other relevant pharmaceutical-industry ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and OneNote • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms • Valid driving license required • No visa sponsorship
