📋 Description

• Drive execution of the annual V&I plan with medical affairs colleagues from key countries and regions, focusing on the U.S. • Serve as subject-matter expert and connector across assigned therapeutic areas • Translate global scientific platforms into actionable Medical Value Narratives • Engage country-level stakeholders, including medical advisors, payers, and scientific leaders • Support local data generation, congress planning, and advisory boards • Serve as medical representative within Product Development sub-teams, including Clinical, V&I, Commercial, Publications, and Label • Communicate pertinent information to executive, regional, U.S., payer, and access stakeholders • Collaborate with Outcomes Research, Policy, Commercial, and Market Access teams • Partner with U.S., China, and Japan markets to bridge global strategy with local execution • Consolidate actionable medical insights from countries and regions • Engage international scientific leaders and external stakeholders regarding emerging science • Monitor the external environment with the competitive intelligence team • Organize global expert-input events, advisory boards, and expert-input forums • Collaborate with Global Human Health executive directors to align and independently execute V&I plans • Organize global symposia and educational meetings • Support local data-generation study concepts and protocols • Review Investigator-Initiated Study proposals and serve on TA-specific MISP review panels • Manage patient support, educational, or risk-management programs • Champion innovation, medical modernization, team priorities, and patient impact • Manage assigned budget, delivering within a 3% variance

🎯 Requirements

• M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D. and recognized medical expertise (M.D. preferred) • Experience in country/region medical affairs or clinical development • Pulmonary Hypertension therapeutic area experience preferred • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills • Ability to effectively collaborate with partners across divisions in a matrix environment • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and written and oral communication skills • Results-oriented project management skills • At least three years regional medical affairs experience preferred • Proven track record of contribution to medical-affairs strategies preferred • Customer expertise, especially of scientific leadership and other key stakeholders in the assigned therapeutic area preferred • Required skills: Cardiology, Communication, Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Industry, Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, Strategic Planning • US and Puerto Rico residents only • No visa sponsorship
