📋 Description

• Drive Medical Affairs strategy in the Rheumatology and Dermatology space for the US • Drive scientific excellence across in-line business and the company pipeline • Optimize field readiness across Scientific Exchange, Company Trials, Investigator-Sponsored Programs, Congresses, and Insights • Lead execution of scientific and medical affairs plans for assigned therapy areas within the region • Engage regional cross-functional teams and provide US input to US MAT, PAT, MT, and V&I planning meetings • Collaborate with Global TA teams and cross-functional partners on US regional Value & Implementation Planning • Integrate local insights into Global Scientific Value Content and Center of Scientific Exchange Excellence plans • Facilitate local adoption of GSVC and CSEE initiatives • Lead aligned local training programs and evaluate training effectiveness in the field • Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with headquarters V&I goals • Contribute to the US Country Medical Affairs Plan, Field Medical Plan/Field Engagement Plan, and field training plan • Identify and prioritize US field resources, training needs, and activities • Develop scientific engagement plans aligned with the global scientific communications platform • Ensure advisory board and field medical insights are actioned and monitored for trends • Organize expert input events with Scientific Leaders and key stakeholders • Manage patient support, education, and risk-management programs as needed • Partner with GSVC, CSEE, GCTO, GMSA TA leads, and internal/external SMEs to deliver regional training • Share best practices across US Medical Affairs roles and teams • Collaborate with the FMAD to harmonize training standards and processes • Provide input into congress priorities and participate in planning at key scientific congresses • Monitor the healthcare environment and emerging trends to optimize plans and field execution • Support new-hire scientific foundational onboarding and verbalization processes • Support the Investigator Studies Program through consultation, dissemination, training, and scientific review

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD) relevant to the TA-specific disease area • Recognized medical expertise in rheumatology/dermatology • Minimum 5 years of medical affairs experience or equivalent clinical/research experience • Minimum 3 years working in the therapeutic area (clinical, research, or pharmaceutical environment) or a highly relevant TA, with demonstrated scientific acumen • Proven strategic decision-making and planning ability • Track record leading complex projects and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong emotional intelligence • Exceptional networking and partnership skills • Agile mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement • Expertise interpreting and communicating complex scientific concepts in one-on-one and group settings • Deep knowledge of the US healthcare system, national treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations, and OIG compliance • Ability to travel up to 40% (congresses) • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • No visa sponsorship available • Required skills: Clinical Affairs, Clinical Research, Dermatology, Medical Affairs, Pharmaceutical Industry, Pharmaceutical Research, Rheumatology, Scientific Leadership
