📋 Description

• Manage large complex relationships, cultivating present and prospective clients as sources of new business, including travel and client visits • Meet with clients to ensure quality of service and uncover opportunities for referrals for other banking services • Manage, coach and mentor Relationship Managers and other assigned staff members • Ensure staff awareness of and compliance with internal and external policies and procedures • Lead development and implementation of process improvements to increase service, processing, profitability and regulatory compliance • Maintain administrative, operational and risk management support for the Unit • Participate in revenue-generating efforts as assigned • Develop and maintain key internal and external relationships related to revenue growth • Collaborate to implement the strategic plan • Represent the Unit or Division on enterprise-wide projects and initiatives • Exercise managerial authority concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations • Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls • Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand • Maintain internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory findings • Complete other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ related experience • Minimum of 2 years’ work leadership, supervisory and/or managerial experience • Strong customer service skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Problem resolution skills • Resource management skills • Strong decision-making skills • Certified Corporate Trust Specialist certification (preferred) • Project management skills (preferred) • Analytical skills (preferred) • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in use of pertinent word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and industry-specific software (preferred)
