• Provide leadership and oversight of drivers, dispatchers, and other operations personnel • Manage daily transit operations to ensure safe, efficient, and effective service delivery • Monitor staffing levels, attendance, scheduling, expenditures, and employee performance • Administer coaching, corrective action, performance management, and employee development initiatives • Conduct monthly safety meetings and reinforce company safety standards • Coordinate employee training, retraining, and policy updates to ensure regulatory and operational compliance • Perform driver evaluations in accordance with contract requirements and ADA, DOT, and FTA standards • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and collaboration • Support clients with operational updates, reporting, process improvements, and system enhancements • Analyze operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and applicable regulations • Participate in startup activities, service expansions, and business growth initiatives as needed • Perform other duties as assigned • Join an evergreen talent pipeline for anticipated future transit and paratransit business opportunities nationwide
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of five (5) years of transit management experience • Experience supervising employees in a transportation or service delivery environment • Experience managing operational performance, staffing, and service delivery • Experience conducting employee training and development activities • Valid driver's license • Previous management experience in paratransit, transit, or livery operations preferred • Experience working with senior populations and individuals with disabilities preferred • Experience supervising hourly employees in a passenger transportation environment preferred • Experience delivering classroom and behind-the-wheel training preferred • Knowledge of ADA, DOT, and FTA regulations preferred • Experience with data analytics, reporting, and operational performance management preferred • Strong leadership and employee development capabilities • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills • Ability to administer coaching, discipline, and performance management effectively • Knowledge of safety and training procedures • Strong client relationship management skills • Ability to interpret operational data and performance metrics • Familiarity with dispatch operations, map reading, and transportation systems • Knowledge of two-way radio communications and demand-response transportation operations preferred • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills • Ability to operate a company or rental vehicle in accordance with company policy and motor vehicle standards may be required
