📋 Description

• Coordinate interpreting assignments across multiple clients and projects • Identify and assign qualified interpreters based on language, location, availability, credentials, experience, modality, and client-specific requirements • Recruit and source interpreters for hard-to-fill languages, geographic areas, and specialized assignments • Communicate with interpreters about availability, assignment details, confirmations, changes, documentation, and project requirements • Maintain accurate assignments, interpreter profiles, notes, documentation, and scheduling information in the scheduling platform • Monitor upcoming assignments and proactively identify potential coverage issues • Support senior team members with high-volume, complex, urgent, and specialized interpreting requests • Assist with interpreter onboarding and maintain required documentation • Review interpreter invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness • Follow up regarding missing invoices, timesheets, verification of service, and required documentation • Maintain project and assignment records for invoicing, reporting, and operational efficiency • Communicate professionally and promptly with interpreters, clients, and CCI team members • Assist with cancellations, replacements, schedule changes, and unexpected situations • Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and other functions • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in interpreting coordination, language services project management, interpreter scheduling, interpreting operations, or a closely related role • Demonstrated experience scheduling and coordinating interpreters in a professional language services environment • Hands-on experience with ScheduleInterpreter® strongly preferred, or experience with a comparable interpreter scheduling or language services management platform • Experience recruiting, sourcing, and maintaining relationships with freelance interpreters and language professionals • Experience reviewing interpreter/vendor invoices and supporting service documentation • Strong understanding of interpreting operations and the lifecycle of an interpreting assignment • Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail • Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, deadlines, priorities, and last-minute changes • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative • Ability to consistently provide remote support during 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday • Reliable high-speed internet access and technology necessary to provide services remotely • Must be located outside of the United States and able to provide services as an independent contractor in accordance with applicable requirements in their country of residence • Experience coordinating ASL, spoken-language, on-site, remote, simultaneous, and consecutive interpreting valued • Experience supporting government, education, legal, healthcare, corporate, or conference interpreting programs is a plus • Bilingual or multilingual professionals strongly encouraged to apply
