📋 Description

• The candidate must have skills and experience managing Data Warehouse, BI, and Reporting related projects. • Must be familiar with the tasks necessary to design and build a Data Warehouse, and associated multiple reporting needs. • Must have experience managing projects including SSIS/ ETL/ DW/ Data integration / SQL Server / Design / Analysis/ other ETL tools like Informatica and Data Stage • Must understand Data Warehouse concepts and the deliverables associated with Data Warehouse and Reporting projects. • Follows standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework. • Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works closely with project sponsor. • Creates project charter, work plan, tracks schedule progress via appropriate metrics, and reports on status on a weekly basis. • Establishes project organization and methodologies and defines roles and responsibilities. • Documents risks and develops mitigation plans. • Manages scope. • Keeps track of project issues and their resolution. • Creates and implements a communication plan. • Builds an effective team, assigns tasks to team members, and evaluates outcomes. • Negotiates resources. • Communicates to stakeholders and project sponsor. • Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers. • Provides technical support to project team members. • Handles complex application features and technical designs.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years Project Management Experience, responsible for managing projects from inception to implementation • Minimum 6+ years experience leading Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence concepts and the deliverables associated with these types of projects • Demonstrated understanding of ETL and reporting processes as they relate to project delivery, e.g. : SSIS/ ETL/ DW/ Data integration / SQL Server / Design / Analysis/ other ETL tools like Informatica and Data Stage • Knowledge and understanding of the SDLC • Experience with Waterfall & Agile project methodologies • 8+ years experience creating detailed project schedules, and managing to them
