• Work on construction projects in a utility capacity, transferring between tasks as demands require. • Load and unload tools or raw materials. • Erect scaffolding and other equipment. • Use air bags for lifting pipes in racks. • Cut, strip, and install insulation on piping. • Perform other related duties as assigned. • Work without close supervision and perform the role without supervisory responsibilities.
• High School Diploma, preferred, or GED equivalent. • Minimum one (1) year directly related remote experience in the construction or oil & gas industry. • Insulation blanket/sewing experience in construction industry required. • Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy. • Must be able to pass 40hr OSHA Asbestos Mitigation. • Must be able to pass fit test to wear a respirator. • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. • Ability to work without close supervision. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. • Ability to work in extreme cold, outside weather conditions, at high and precarious places, and around moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles.
