📋 Description

• Act as the primary clinical/scientific resource to Key Opinion Leaders and Health Care Practitioners in a specified geography • Provide disease-state and ImmunityBio product and pipeline information • Serve as a conduit for accurate clinical, scientific, and medical information between external stakeholders and Medical Affairs and Clinical Development groups • Establish, foster, cultivate and maintain peer relationships with KOLs and HCPs • Participate in scientific exchanges and interactions with identified KOLs • Deliver clinical and scientific presentations to KOLs and HCPs proactively and in response to information requests • Identify and report scientific, clinical, and research insights to Medical Affairs and internal stakeholders • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in the field • Fulfill pharmacovigilance responsibilities related to medical inquiries and drug safety information • Implement the medical territory plan within the assigned geography • Develop and demonstrate scientific expertise in oncology, relevant disease states, competitive landscape, products, pipeline, clinical practice, and study methodology • Serve as a scientific subject matter resource to commercial personnel and internal stakeholders • Support clinical operations and trial sites for sponsored clinical trials and research programs • Set up and maintain a home-based office • Engage in frequent domestic and international business travel

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced medical/scientific/clinical degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, or PA) required • 2+ years of relevant clinical, research, or medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related healthcare field required • Must possess and maintain a current valid driver's license • Knowledge of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, FDA regulations and OIG guidelines preferred • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required • Ability to network and partner with external customers, including medical thought leaders, academic institutions, large group practices, medical directors and pharmacy directors required • Demonstrated ability to anticipate, organize, plan, and handle multiple changing priorities • Demonstrated ability to work independently • Demonstrated business acumen • Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical information and data • Operational proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel • Demonstrated ability to work with software tracking/logging systems, including customer relationship management systems and insights capturing systems • Commitment to working within the Medical Affairs Department framework and complying with policies, systems, and practices • Capable of frequent business travel, approximately 50% of the time, including automobile, train, and air travel • Ability to travel overnight and occasionally on weekends • Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record check upon hire and annually thereafter • Must maintain automobile liability insurance meeting company minimum coverage limits
