National Education Opportunity Network (NEON) is a nonprofit organization that expands college access and economic mobility by delivering college credit-bearing courses—taught by university faculty—into low-income (Title I) high schools at no cost to students. Launched in 2019, NEON partners with top colleges and universities and provides built-in academic coaching and college advising so scholars can earn transferable college credit and strengthen readiness for college and careers. NEON has served 50,000+ scholars across 34 states and 500+ high schools, reports high course pass rates and improved college matriculation for participants, and is scaling toward a target of 1 million scholars.
