📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and manage effective multi-year strategies and plans for cultivating and soliciting corporate, foundation, institutional, and individual donors • Build strong relationships with new and current donors and prospects • Cultivate donors from annual giving through major and planned gifts • Make direct asks for global and regional priorities • Discuss assets and identify opportunities for gifts of assets, planned gifts, trade lands, blended gifts, and other non-cash gifts • Discuss The Nature Conservancy’s priorities and charitable giving options with donors • Manage relationships with global and regional relationship managers • Ensure programmatic work is collaborative and integrated within philanthropy and across the organization • Organize internal communications • Reinforce organizational policies and procedures and provide direction in relevant fields • Establish and track measures and lead indicators of progress and success • Advise, guide, and oversee NAPGR Program functions, including the Trustee Advocacy Program • Lead diverse activities, develop complex processes, project outcomes, and initiate solutions to improve effectiveness

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years related experience • Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with major donors and corporations • Experience asking for and closing six- and seven-figure gifts, including planned gifts • Experience managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors • Experience with fundraising principles and practices • Experience, coursework, or other training in current and evolving trends in charitable giving, particularly capital campaigns, major gifts, and planned giving • Successful applicant must meet The Nature Conservancy's background screening requirements
