📋 Description

• Report to the Chief Legal Officer • Manage a team of attorneys and paralegals that provide day-to-day legal support for Navitus • Provide analysis and counsel on complex federal and state healthcare laws • Manage corporate licensing and guide the company through legislative and regulatory changes • Collaborate with Lumicera and Archimedes teams to ensure compliance with relevant law and ethical business practices • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Navitus Legal Team in meeting organizational needs • Manage licensing and regulatory requirement processes • Inform new Navitus initiatives from a legal perspective, including contracts and IT systems • Update, review, and approve policies and procedures related to legal needs • Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, contracts, and legal codes • Maintain working knowledge of applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited Law school required • Additional Business or pharmacy degree preferred • License to practice law in at least one US state required • License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred • 6+ years of experience working in legal required • Experience using software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
