• Develop AI-native features by building and integrating LLM-powered systems for extracting, structuring, and reasoning over complex healthcare and benefits data • Build against AI infrastructure, including retrieval pipelines (RAG), embeddings, prompt orchestration, and internal agent frameworks • Own end-to-end systems from design, application development, AI integrations and final product delivery. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design and other functions to understand customer workflows and translate them into technical solutions • Implement evaluation pipelines and benchmarking strategies to measure LLM performance, and design guardrails that enforce safety, accuracy, and compliance thresholds across AI-powered features
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating complex applications in production • Experienced integrating AI/LLM-powered systems (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) into real products • Strong proficiency with modern, object-oriented languages and frameworks (Typescript, Ruby etc) • Comfortable completely owning backend systems and APIs and collaborating on frontend experiences • Experience with AWS infrastructure or equivalent • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools • Opinionated, adaptable, and energized by working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments • Have a track record of setting technical direction and influencing engineering standards across a team • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
