📋 Description

• Leads a team of software and quality engineers delivering compliance automation, AI solutions, risk controls, and regulatory technology platforms • Owns the engineering roadmap for the compliance and risk pillar while balancing regulatory urgency, technical sustainability, and product prioritization • Establish and uphold software quality, legal & privacy architecture and engineering standards, and NBCU cyber guidelines • Drive delivery across multiple complex concurrent programs/projects • Partner with Principal architect, scrum lead, product owner, and technical project manager to ensure standards and stakeholder visibility • Oversee platforms, automation, and AI solutions enabling the following business capabilities: Ethics & Compliance Enablement, Controls Engineering & Validation, Compliance Driven Vulnerability Discovery, Regulatory Compliance Automation, Risk Management Tooling, GRC Platform Operations, AI / ML Governance and Controls • Communicate program status, risk exposure, and engineering trade-offs to SVPs, VPs and Directors in a clear and business relevant terms • Partner closely with SaaS providers and internal teams to maintain system health and performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with 4+ years in engineering management or senior technical leadership • 5+ years of experience leading ML and automation solutions • 3+ years of experience in deploying AI solutions • Demonstrated experience delivering compliance, regulatory, risk, or governance technology in a large enterprise environment • Working knowledge of major privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) • Strong track record of leading cross-functional programs with legal, privacy, and compliance stakeholders • Proven ability to influence and communicate at S/VP levels • Experience managing and growing engineering teams (software and quality engineers + managers) in a matrixed Fortune 100 or equivalent environment
