📋 Description

• Act as lead editor for Saturday commerce broadcast segments • Support the digital production of articles tied to broadcast coverage • Assign, edit and refresh multiple gift guides daily during peak holiday shopping seasons • Cover lifestyle commerce categories including fashion, home, parenting, beauty and food • Assign and edit evergreen refreshes, roundups, explainers and other search topics during off-peak periods • Monitor story performance using analytics programs • Make editorial decisions based on traffic, conversion patterns and Audience Development insight • Work across Shop TODAY digital and broadcast on a Thursday-to-Saturday schedule

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years editing experience, preferably in the lifestyle space • Experience utilizing SEO best practices and tools • Strong understanding of the digital lifestyle space, including beauty, fashion, home and fitness • Familiarity with a news cycle and deadline-driven environment • Comfortable editing quickly and accurately with minimal supervision • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • E-commerce experience is a plus • Must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States • Must be able to work 24 hours per week from Thursday to Saturday
