📋 Description

• Assist in leading quality engineering efforts as a hands-on technical QA Engineer • Provide manual QA and test automation • Mentor QA engineers, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews • Set automation standards, frameworks, and best practices across the QA function • Plan and prioritize QA work with engineering and product leadership • Assist the QA Manager with test strategy for new features and major releases • Perform risk assessment and coverage planning • Report quality metrics, automation coverage, and release readiness to stakeholders • Act as the primary escalation point for complex quality and testing issues • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for API, web UI, and Windows desktop applications • Develop API test automation frameworks using Java and REST Assured • Write Python automation scripts and tooling for test execution, data setup, and reporting • Evaluate and apply AI automation tools for test generation, maintenance, and self-healing • Use Claude AI to generate test cases, refactor test code, analyze failures, and create documentation • Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines in Azure DevOps, including test plans, pipelines, and release gates • Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation coverage is developing • Triage test failures, distinguish flaky tests from genuine defects, and drive root-cause analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant work experience • 8+ years of QA engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior QA role • Strong hands-on experience with Java and REST Assured for API test automation • Experience using Claude AI or similar LLM tools to support automation development and testing workflows • Working proficiency in Python for scripting and tooling • Practical experience using AI-assisted or AI-driven automation tools in a testing context • Solid experience with API testing and automation, including functional, contract, and performance considerations • Experience testing Windows desktop applications using UI automation frameworks such as WinAppDriver, Appium, or similar • Experience with Web UI test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Test Plans, Pipelines, Boards, and Repos • Strong understanding of test strategy, risk-based testing, and quality metrics • Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring or leading other QA engineers • Self-starter with strong drive and creative problem-solving ability
