📋 Description

• Control processes related to the consistent flow of Nestlé-controlled ocean, air, and surface traffic to and from foreign destinations • Monitor, inquire about, resolve issues, and communicate with internal and external parties to facilitate timely movement of international shipments imported/exported to and from the US • Collaborate with internal partners including global transportation, demand/supply planning, and warehousing • Collaborate with external partners including third-party logistics providers, ocean carriers, and drayage carriers • Limit supply-chain costs and risks while driving process improvements • Manage relationships with import/export vendors and conduct periodic vendor reviews using agreed metrics and targets • Assist in leading RFPs related to international logistics and drayage vendors • Determine annual container forecasts, select preferred carriers, and manage allocations with steamship lines • Manage claims related to damages during international shipping • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for international logistics processes and industry trends • Attend international logistics seminars, conferences, and presentations • Lead and manage projects to improve end-to-end execution and functional processes • Resolve problems independently and provide solutions considering business and customer impact • Determine routing options to avoid delays and mitigate costs • Analyze port costs and implement practices to mitigate port delays and charges • Develop efficient methods and procedures for logistics operations

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience is required • Minimum 2 years experience working in international logistics with port terminals, dray carriers, and steam ship lines is required • Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word • Proven experience in relationship building, facilitation, implementation skills and influence • Strong Communication Skills • Must be willing and able to work standard business hours • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
