📋 Description

• Implement networking technologies for clients and support clients and their networks • Configure equipment and software to meet client business needs and document solutions for ongoing support • Provide second-level technical support and track service desk tickets • Coordinate and perform remote fixes at desktop, server, and networking levels • Install and upgrade software, implement file backups, and configure systems and applications • Resolve Level 2 issues in Mac OS and Windows environments • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and determine fixes • Perform post-resolution follow-ups and research and resolve technical problems • Implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures • Issue daily operations status reports and project status reports as required • Complete technical and special projects • Enter time daily in the ticketing platform and keep tickets updated • Coordinate work assignments with Service Coordination and project work with Project Management • Update client documentation after network changes • Maintain professional certification statuses and assist with vendor certifications • Provide situational-awareness briefs to peers and leadership on high-profile clients and projects • Own KPIs including Average Time to Resolution, CSAT, Employee Utilization, and SLA Adherence

🎯 Requirements

• Experience at an MSP, service desk, and/or corporate IT environment • Experience supporting small to mid-size clients as a technical support representative or consultant (5+ years) • 5+ years of project engineering experience • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional multitasking ability • Ability to be on-call and work after-hours • Ability to adapt and learn new platforms and skills quickly • Experience with Apple hardware, Mac OS, Google G-Suite, Windows, Office 365, Intune, and JAMF • Experience supporting Outlook/Office 365 Admin Portal • Experience managing and configuring Windows workstation/server OS security, sharing, patches, and group policies in a Windows Domain environment • Experience with cloud storage and remote connectivity solutions • Experience with advanced networking technologies • Experience remediating EDR-related issues • Experience implementing and remediating backup solutions • Familiarity with ConnectWise Automate or a similar RMM solution • Exceptional interpersonal, rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills • College degree from an accredited four-year institution or relevant technical experience • Previous customer support, sales, or technology experience • Current MCSE/MCSA or similar-level Microsoft certifications preferred • Current CCNA certification or extensive knowledge and understanding of the OSI model • Customer approval may be required for access to customer information, systems, and/or premises
