📋 Description

• Drive the monthly reporting cadence, including operating model updates, variance analysis, and management reporting with actionable leadership insights • Own the 3-statement operating model and driver-based forecast, including structural model changes as the business scales • Help drive annual planning through planning templates, scenario models, assumptions, and targets • Build and maintain company-level KPI and metrics reporting, including ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC payback, and Rule of 40 • Explain monthly KPI changes and underlying drivers • Build scenario and sensitivity models for capital and headcount decisions • Own department-level budget tracking and support department leaders on budget, headcount, and software spend • Automate close and forecast-cycle work using AI and improved tooling • Partner with GTM leadership on sales planning and KPI tracking • Run and redesign the monthly close, operating model, and planning cycle as the primary owner

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in FP&A or strategic finance, including several years at a SaaS or usage-based business • Investment banking, consulting, or private equity background preferred • Strong financial modeling skills, framework development, and scenario analysis • History of building 3-statement models from scratch, including scenario and sensitivity analysis • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles • Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills and comfort with large datasets • Deep command of SaaS metrics and their drivers • Understanding of financial data flows and experience reconciling systems • Working knowledge of SQL • Comfort operating in ambiguity and defining approaches to undefined problems • Experience serving as finance point of contact for non-finance leaders and explaining financial concepts clearly • Hands-on experience building AI workflows for finance work, validating AI output, and understanding AI limitations • Deep curiosity about the business, product, customers, competitors, and industry trends
