📋 Description

• Deliver end-to-end user experience and visual design solutions for Global Navigation and Search surfaces • Shift between navigation and search workstreams as team capacity and business needs change • Collaborate with surface design leads on complex UX challenges, interface architecture, and visual craft • Maintain visual and interaction consistency between navigation and search components • Partner with the design system team to contribute UI patterns, components, and documentation • Rapidly absorb existing research, context, and technical constraints when changing workstreams • Support the Unified Experience Core portfolio at Lilly as a flexible individual contributor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent practical design experience • Comprehensive digital design portfolio demonstrating visual craft and end-to-end UX problem-solving • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma • Experience operating within a collaborative, contribution-based design system workflow • 3–6+ years of digital product design experience across enterprise, complex web applications, or large-scale digital ecosystems • Experience working within context-shifting or embedded agency/consulting models • Experience contributing directly to component-based design systems and shared pattern libraries • Professional verbal and written English communication skills • Ability to articulate complex design decisions clearly to non-design executives, engineering leads, and business stakeholders • Preferred: experience designing enterprise search interfaces, discovery experiences, or global header/footer navigation structures at scale • Preferred: familiarity with complex digital ecosystems in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated enterprise environments • Preferred: understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA and modular content structures • Monday through Friday during normal business hours
