📋 Description

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large cross-functional programs supporting strategic objectives • Drive Security and Identity initiatives, including adoption of customer IAM • Manage security programs enforcing compliance standards and protecting sensitive data environments • Track program health and vulnerability management trends • Drive technical projects from ideation to delivery • Manage complex project schedules, remove roadblocks, and maintain smooth processes • Identify and operationalize metrics and KPIs to track progress • Drive issue resolution and mitigation across the organization • Create and operationalize processes that improve organizational effectiveness and business goal attainment • Drive communication, collaboration, and commitment across stakeholders and groups with competing priorities • Identify and manage top risks and align leadership on appropriate project risk levels • Facilitate meetings ranging from small groups of 3–5 people to groups of 100 or more

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working on a software development team as a TPgM or engineering manager • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • 6+ years in project and program management • 6+ years delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment • Experience driving enterprise security and/or compliance programs • Deep understanding of authentication protocols, API security, and cloud architecture • Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints • Ability to drive programs with significant ambiguity and facilitate definition and clarity • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leadership • Technical and business skills to understand, test, and challenge while working with business and technology owners • Understanding of the New Relic platform and its capabilities • Experience working with remote and distributed teams • Prior experience with high-growth companies • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position • Must verify identity and eligibility to work and complete employment eligibility verification • Criminal background check required to join New Relic
