📋 Description

• Own client engagements end to end, from scoping through delivery, on NewtonX’s data operations platform • Translate client training or evaluation needs into statements of work, task designs, quality targets, annotator profiles, and agentic-project environment/tool strategies • Configure multi-layer quality pipelines, task forms, grading rubrics, annotator enablement, and routing • Author first-draft guidelines and gold sets with the ML Lead and pressure-test them before production • Track project quality, throughput, and cost against targets; diagnose drift and intervene before client impact • Manage annotator assignments, layer access, qualification, and performance with the annotator delivery team • Run project channels and calibration sessions, handle exceptions and escalations, and adjust configurations • Serve as the client point of contact for scoping calls, updates, quality escalations, and delivery • Manage expectations against scope and diagnose acceptance issues • Surface account expansion opportunities and new use cases to the commercial team • Assemble and deliver batches on schedule and own client handoff • Run client acceptance testing, capture sign-off, and trigger commercial milestones • Run post-mortems and feed learnings into guidelines, tooling, and future scopes • Build repeatable delivery playbooks, templates, and quality standards • Communicate delivery needs and platform feedback to product and engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data labeling, RLHF/SFT, or AI evaluation delivery • Shipped real annotation or evaluation projects at a data labeling company or inside an AI lab • Comfortable owning quality metrics, debugging stalled queues, and rewriting production rubrics • Able to run scoping calls with technical buyers and translate operational mechanics into client-relevant terms • Data analysis skills using SQL or Python are a strong plus • Experience building processes, playbooks, templates, and quality standards • Ability to manage several concurrent projects with different clients, quality bars, and annotator pools • Adaptable and resilient in changing project environments • Discreet handling of annotator personal data and client-confidential information under strict data-security and confidentiality standards • Valid US or Canadian work authorization required • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
