📋 Description

• Support a DoD customer in implementing an enterprise IT service delivery model • Help deliver enhanced capabilities and services for an enterprise ITSM solution • Develop software applications in an Agile/Scrum environment • Serve as focal point for capturing, analyzing, and managing functional and non-functional system requirements and user stories • Decompose mission and business objectives into system requirements and product backlog items • Lead process re-engineering and automation initiatives • Meet with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements • Communicate business needs to development teams through user stories and acceptance criteria • Work with the Scrum Master to establish release and sprint backlogs, resolve impediments, and provide scope input • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and the product development team • Review development team work to ensure the required scope is met • Lead product demonstrations and report iteration results to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance • 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field substituted for 5 years of relevant experience • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a business analyst on iterative software development projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models • Ability to translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, and technical requirements • Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories • Experience conducting stakeholder interviews • Ability to analyze business processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements • Experience analyzing data and data relationships across business areas • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management • Ability to understand customers’ day-to-day operational needs and propose process improvements • Experience with estimating techniques and capacity planning • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies • Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint • Adaptability and ability to work constructively with a technically diverse team • Willingness to learn and stay abreast of industry trends • Desired: Software development background • Desired: Experience developing process guides • Desired: Certified Business Analysis Professional certification • Desired: Agile or Scrum Master Certification • Desired: Product Owner Certification • Desired: Knowledge and experience with BABOK • Desired: Experience with ServiceNow or similar service desk solution
