📋 Description

• Define the metric showing whether a neighbor found what they came for and make it the basis for experiments and ship decisions • Own the Search rebuild end to end across organic and monetized search • Improve search for posts, people, places, and answers • Partner with data science and ML engineering on query understanding, retrieval, and ranking • Design the blending of organic and sponsored content, including placement, ad load, relevance thresholds, and monetization-eligibility routing • Grow revenue on commercially oriented queries while maintaining relevance as a guardrail • Collaborate with engineering, data science, research, design, and PMM • Ship experiments with measurable impact

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience • Deep ownership of consumer search at scale • Working knowledge of information retrieval fundamentals, including query understanding, retrieval, and ranking • Experience defining search relevance and quality metrics from scratch • Experience shipping ML- or LLM-powered search features • Experience working directly with search monetization, ads, and revenue teams • Track record of growing engagement and revenue together • Strong consumer product instincts from shipping experiences used at scale • Strong track record designing and analyzing A/B tests • Experience balancing revenue metrics against engagement guardrails • Experience shipping in adjacent areas such as growth, marketplace, ads, or 0-to-1 products • Excellent cross-functional communication skills • Active use of AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Glean as part of the workflow
