📋 Description

• Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for Nextech's reporting, analytics, and AI-driven insights portfolio across financial and clinical domains • Set investment, sequencing, and prioritization direction based on client value and business impact • Define analytics and insights strategy, including proactive AI-driven insight • Prioritize and manage the portfolio backlog and make data-driven tradeoffs • Ensure responsible and compliant use of AI and client data • Partner with Data Engineering on lakehouse medallion layers, data warehouses, data marts, ELT/ETL pipelines, semantic and metrics layers, and embedded analytics • Translate data architecture vision into a scalable product roadmap • Drive structured discovery with providers, practice administrators, revenue cycle leaders, and clinical staff • Convert client learning into actionable delivery decisions and validate direction through prototypes, pilots, and design partners • Author product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow documentation • Partner with engineering on technical tradeoffs, dependencies, sequencing, and refinement • Maintain a healthy, groomed backlog • Lead cross-functional execution of reporting and analytics capabilities • Galvanize engineering and design teams, remove blockers, manage dependencies, and mentor product practices • Define and report financial and clinical KPIs including revenue cycle performance, charge capture, charge lag, accounts receivable aging, denials, net collection rate, underpayment detection, and clinical quality measures • Tie product outcomes to adoption, retention, revenue, and efficiency gains • Partner with Commercial teams on positioning, packaging, launch, and adoption strategies • Use data and market insight to guide prioritization and assess product-market fit

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, including significant time owning reporting, analytics, or data-driven products • Demonstrated fluency in financial outcomes and KPIs in non-acute, ambulatory, or specialty healthcare • Proven track record of delivering measurable results in fast-paced, high-growth environments • Working knowledge of modern data architecture, including data warehouses, data marts, ELT/ETL pipelines, semantic and metrics layers, and embedded business intelligence • Conversant in data lake and lakehouse architecture and the medallion model • Demonstrated extreme ownership in authoring crisp product requirements and driving refinement with engineering • Proven ability to run rapid client discovery producing actionable delivery decisions • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts applied to analytics and insight generation • Ability to galvanize engineering and design teams and influence cross-functionally without direct authority • Experience working in Agile environments • Strong analytical and written skills • Strong working knowledge of SQL fundamentals: SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, and ORDER BY • Solid understanding of relational database fundamentals • Hands-on experience implementing agentic AI product workflows with human approval checkpoints • Proven track record of adopting and leveraging AI in day-to-day work • Preferred: healthcare technology, EHR, revenue cycle management, or ambulatory/specialty care experience • Preferred: hands-on experience with Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or Sigma • Preferred: experience shipping AI- or LLM-powered analytics or insight features • Preferred: specialty practice experience • Preferred: familiarity with Jira • Preferred: advanced degree (MBA or technical/analytics discipline)
