📋 Description

• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for acutely ill patients • Assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate patient care through the nursing process • Collect and analyze data and identify expected outcomes • Develop and implement individualized care plans • Direct care and determine appropriate utilization of assistants involved in direct patient care • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff • Document care plans, communications, nursing interventions, and patient responses in the health record • Individualize plans of care based on evaluation findings • Use evidence and research findings to guide practice decisions • Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects • Maintain ANA standards of professional nursing practice and comply with organizational, regulatory, and accreditation standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) with commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role • Registered Professional Nurse licensure for the state in which the employee works • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • For Emergency Room: ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC within one year of hire • For Pediatric Emergency Room: Pediatric Advanced Life Support and TNCC within one year of hire • For Non-Invasive Cardiology: ACLS • Preferred experience in the specific clinical area • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to collaborate with others • Strong analytic abilities • Travel required within designated geographic area • Valid driver's license and annual driving abstract for Hospital at Home & Home Health roles
