• Serve as a public-facing member of NMDP on college campuses and within the community • Engage student peers and community members to spread awareness, educate, and inspire individuals to join the NMDP Registry • Deliver captive-audience presentations, tabling events, and registry recruitment activities • Cultivate and grow the NMDP mission at colleges/universities and within the community, measured by new registry members added • Sustain campus and community relationships and inspire students and community members to join the registry • Plan and coordinate registry awareness, education, and recruitment activities aligned with external partners and organizational goals • Collaborate with internal NMDP partners and external campus and community partners • Work with the regional Member Recruitment team to achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment goals • Lead weekly on-campus or community activations, including presentations, tabling, stakeholder collaboration, and recruitment events • Set up and break down booths, tables, chairs, and related event equipment • Secure and manage volunteers to achieve weekly recruitment goals • Learn and become proficient in NMDP’s member registration process • Comply with NMDP policies, procedures, and confidentiality policy
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at a college or university • Completed at least 30 hours of coursework • Minimum GPA of 2.8 • Ability to learn, retain, and communicate lifesaving information about NMDP • Strong interpersonal skills for developing relationships with students, campus organizations, and community organizations • Ability to build enthusiasm and inspire the community through engaging conversations and public speaking • Highly organized with effective time-management skills • Ability to balance internship responsibilities with academic and other responsibilities • Ability to adapt and problem-solve • Ability to lead weekly on-campus or community activations • Ability to work in a remote environment under minimum in-person supervision • Consistent dependability • Ability to learn and become proficient in NMDP’s member registration process • Ability to comply with NMDP’s confidentiality policy • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet search applications • Some weekend and evening hours required • Preference given to current NMDP Chapter members, NMDP Ambassadors, and/or NMDP volunteers
