📋 Description

• Drive the overarching product vision and multi-year roadmap for billing and commercial platforms across Compute, Delivery, and Security • Architect convergence of legacy enterprise billing stacks with cloud compute billing systems • Enable product-led growth through customer journeys, promotional credits, real-time cost visibility, and self-service account management • Build enterprise commerce capabilities for negotiated pricing, complex commitments, custom discounts, credits, and consolidated billing • Partner with engineering delivery organizations to transition technical teams toward modern agile frameworks and maintain SOX compliance • Establish reusable capabilities for rating, metering, entitlements, and invoicing • Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Legal • Drive strategic direction for Akamai's global billing ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in product management, billing, fintech, or cloud revenue operations • Proven experience architecting complex billing system integrations • Experience merging legacy enterprise platforms with modern consumption-based cloud systems • Expertise in usage-based monetization models, pricing enablement, metering, rating, and enterprise contract constructs • Track record of driving organizational change and influencing technical delivery teams to adopt agile development methodologies • Deep knowledge of financial compliance standards, including implementing strict SOX controls • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Legal • Experience structuring billing and monetization platforms for emerging AI technology, agentic workflows, and acquired platforms
