📋 Description

• Develop the deployment stack responsible for building new test datacenters on the Lab Platform • Design monitoring solutions with new and existing observability tooling to ensure the health of Lab Services • Identify bottlenecks with deployment and configuration frameworks and propose solutions that improve performance and reliability • Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and subject matter experts on solutions that increase shipping speed and confidence • Work on a highly collaborative global team that values feedback and open communication • Build and manage mission-critical lab infrastructure services and environments for the Akamai Connected Cloud platform • Contribute to scaling infrastructure and management tools and improving development and testing

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and related tooling, including Terraform, SaltStack, and Ansible • Demonstrated background using Python and RESTful API frameworks, including Flask and Django • Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Nomad • Experience with development-environment tooling such as Kind, Docker Compose, and Tilt • Comfortable working with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres
