📋 Description

• Support Custom Engineered Product Development in both Liquid Cooling and Air Cooled product families for Hyperscale customers • Develop optimized solutions using Industry Standards and best practices • Apply design engineering principles and practices, managing assigned portions of product development projects • Manage multiple project activities in parallel and may lead projects through completion • Work with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to develop product requirements based on customer needs • Analyze systems using a variety of engineering tools including FEA, analytical formulas, benchmark designs, etc. • Run through sizing and optimization exercises for pumps, valves, and flow control devices • Familiar with piping layouts, design, and material selection • Use DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA tools to improve quality and reliability of designs • Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) • Assure full and accurate documentation for designs moving into commercialization • Work with operations to design solutions integrated into current manufacturing capabilities • Develop advanced designs in conjunction with operations to produce high quality designs that are value based • Work with sales and service to improve current designs and incorporate future needs into the existing platform • Work as an example and mentor to more junior mechanical engineers

🎯 Requirements

• BSME from an accredited university, or applicable engineering work experience • 3-5 years of engineering work experience, HVAC preferred • CFD, computational fluid dynamics experience preferred • Self-starter and must be able to work cross-functionally • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills • P.E certification a plus • MSME is a plus • SolidWorks, DraftSight, AutoCAD, Revit skills
