📋 Description

• Obtain, organize, analyze, and manage cancer data for quality improvement and investigative studies • Support quality studies and quality improvement initiatives of the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute Multidisciplinary Care Teams and disease-specific Steering Committees • Work directly with administrative personnel, physician practice staff, and providers • Assess study feasibility, resource requirements, study design, and data collection and analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent in related field • Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) credential and/or Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) credential from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) • CTR Certification • Two years’ experience in cancer registry field or similar field • Experience using computer data base systems • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology • Preferred: Experience using Microsoft Access and One Note • Preferred: B.S. degree in Health Sciences, Health Information Management, or related discipline
