• Lead all supplier-side sales execution, distributor management, inventory planning, account development, and market activation throughout the assigned distributor territory • Develop annual territory business plans and quarterly execution strategies • Serve as the primary supplier contact for the assigned wholesaler • Build relationships with distributor leadership, sales teams, chain accounts, on-premise representatives, and priority accounts • Conduct weekly planning meetings and participate in quarterly business reviews • Drive on-premise placements, menu features, tap takeovers, beer dinners, staff education, sampling events, promotions, and launches • Ensure off-premise retail execution, including resets, shelf and cold-box placement, displays, pricing, and point-of-sale materials • Manage execution across authorized chain accounts and ensure launches, resets, promotions, and retail events are completed accurately and on time • Monitor distributor inventory, forecast requirements, manage allocations, and develop recovery plans • Conduct market audits covering shelf standards, cooler presence, displays, pricing, freshness, draft quality, and point-of-sale placement • Coordinate product launches, festivals, samplings, promotions, community events, brewery appearances, and other activations with Marketing • Use CRM, distributor reporting, and internal dashboards to monitor sales, distribution, inventory, account growth, SKU performance, placements, reorders, promotions, and pipeline health • Provide concise weekly territory updates to leadership • Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Production, Warehouse and Fulfillment, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Taproom Operations • Coordinate shared Chantilly/Northern Virginia coverage with the other Territory Business Manager • Influence, motivate, educate, and hold distributor partners accountable without direct supervisory authority
• More than 4 years of beverage-alcohol sales experience, preferably in beer • High School Diploma or GED • Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system • Experience across on-premise and off-premise channels • Working knowledge of chain retail execution, resets, authorizations, displays, and promotional programming • Ability to interpret depletion, inventory, sales, and account-performance reports • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, team-building, problem-solving, and partner-accountability skills • Ability to motivate, educate, and coach others without direct supervisory authority • Strong time and territory-management skills • Competence in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote • Comfort using CRM systems • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record • Previous supplier-side sales experience preferred • Previous craft beer and wholesaler-management experience preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Hospitality, Brewing, or a related discipline desired • Experience managing large geographic territories and multiple distributor sales teams desired • Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory, approximately 60–70% • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds • Ability to drive, walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry materials
• Vehicle stipend provided monthly • Personal vehicle eligible for stipend • Home office and in-market work arrangement
