📋 Description

• Review and analyze project requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for clarity, completeness, and testability • Maintain and update the requirements traceability matrix (RTM) • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test suites • Develop and update test plans covering scope, approach, schedule, resources, and risks • Execute manual UAT test cases, log test results, and validate functional and non-functional requirements • Conduct regression, exploratory, ad hoc, integration, load, performance, security, and accessibility testing • Log defects with reproduction steps and evidence; retest defects and confirm resolution • Prepare and curate UAT test data and validate UAT readiness • Participate in defect triage and assess priority, severity, business impact, and root causes • Provide UAT guidance to business SMEs/testers and contribute to training, documentation, and testing best practices • Provide test metrics, summaries, and status reports to stakeholders • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and release readiness assessments • Identify automation candidates and collaborate with automation engineers on regression and smoke testing • Define testing approaches, criteria, quality gates, and release-level test strategies • Escalate quality risks, blockers, unresolved defects, and environment issues with recommendations • Assess test coverage, identify gaps, recommend scope adjustments, and support QA/UAT estimates • Participate in or lead release readiness discussions

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of UAT processes, SDLC, and agile methodologies • Experience designing and executing complex test scenarios • Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal direction • Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG, security testing fundamentals, and performance considerations • Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation strategies • Experience leading QA/UAT activities for complex, cross-functional projects • Experience creating test strategies, test plans, RTMs, test cases, defect reports, test summaries, and release readiness documentation • Understanding of defect lifecycle, test coverage analysis, risk-based testing, and release quality criteria • Ability to work across business, technical, product, vendor, and project management teams • Experience in government or regulated environments preferred as ideal-candidate experience • Familiarity with test automation concepts such as Selenium, Playwright, and Robot Framework • Experience preparing or managing test data • Background in business analysis or QA beyond UAT • Windows operating systems knowledge • Azure DevOps proficiency (4–6 years) • JIRA proficiency (4–6 years) • Advanced verbal and written communication skills (7–9 years) • Advanced learning ability (7–9 years)
