📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive compensation consulting services and develop, implement, and/or administer compensation programs • Provide subject matter expertise and serve as a market expert regarding client market compensation issues • Conduct job evaluations and recommend internal job placement, appropriate level, title, and FLSA classification • Conduct market pricing, peer group selection, survey analyses, salary-data interpretation, financial modeling, and special research projects • Analyze data to determine appropriate salary levels and job titles for existing and proposed positions • Identify complex job-matching and data issues and consult with clients and associates to determine appropriate actions • Keep the project manager apprised of project status, delays, or potential problems • Assist with complex report and proposal writing and proof materials for accuracy • Serve as a peer reviewer and mentor junior associates in research, data collection, and analytics • Participate in client delivery team meetings • Establish client relationships and act as a key point of contact for client inquiries • Shadow project and client relationship managers at client meetings or teleconferences

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field • One to five years of progressive experience directly consulting with clients • Three to five years of related analytical experience involving data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design • Solid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Basic programming experience is a plus • Strong critical thinking and data-analytics abilities • Ability to determine appropriate data-analytic approaches and tools based on project tasks and client requirements • Ability to analyze, organize, and interpret data logically and systematically • Ability to visualize and articulate complex problems and concepts • Ability to recognize patterns in complex data sets and recommend practical models • Knowledge of laws and regulations impacting health care client populations • Excellent interpersonal, writing, verbal, and presentation skills • Excellent project management and organizational skills • Ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Strong attention to detail • Ability to assist with complex project deliverables in a driven and changing organization • Ability to work under tight deadlines or changing needs • Ability to work independently and within a team structure • Intellectually curious and seeking opportunities to develop new skills • Preferred: Master's degree in a business-related field • Preferred: Certified Compensation or Benefits Professional designation • Preferred: Experience within a consulting, compensation, or health care-related firm
