📋 Description

• Interact with assigned accounts to support patient access within the therapeutic area products • Provide proactive face-to-face education on product-specific programs to providers and staff • Analyze reimbursement problems and offer solutions • Support questions related to payer policies, drug acquisition, inventory management, and patient/practice reimbursement • Analyze account reimbursement issues and opportunities • Identify trends at local, regional, and national levels and partner internally and externally to support patient pull-through • Interface with the Patient Support Center on patient case management, case tracking, issue resolution, reimbursement support, and office staff education • Review patient-specific information when requested by sites to resolve coverage challenges • Collaborate with cross-functional associates to share insights on customer needs and access and reimbursement barriers • Maintain understanding of company policies and perform responsibilities consistently with company Values and Behaviors • Handle Patient Identifiable Information appropriately and ensure compliance with privacy laws and company guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required • Minimum three to five years’ experience in public or private third-party reimbursement or the pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, or sales • Experience with specialty pharmacy products acquired through specialty pharmacy networks or specialty distributors (buy and bill) • Experience with coding, billing, and office support programs • Prior account management experience or experience with complex accounts • Knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors • Knowledge of Integrated Delivery Networks/Integrated Health Systems • Ability to collaborate with multiple sales representatives, sales leadership, and internal colleagues • Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 60 miles from the territory border • Ability to travel 60–80% over a broad geography • Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory • Must have a valid, fully valid, and unrestricted driver’s license • Understanding of HIPAA and other privacy laws and regulations • Experience working within Buy and Bill environments, including reimbursement and access support for provider-administered therapies (preferred)
