📋 Description

• Assess entity operational attributes and characteristics to determine risks to reliability and security of the Bulk Power System • Develop and update Entity Inherent Risk Assessments (IRA) and Compliance Oversight Plans (COP) • Develop audit scoping recommendations in accordance with NPCC Compliance Instructions and ERO report format guidance • Advise on internal controls assessment focus areas based on inherent and residual entity risk • Assess entity risk and controls program maturity • Assess the design, implementation, and effectiveness of entity internal control activities • Evaluate monitoring engagement results and compliance history to develop and update entity COPs • Follow IRA and COP processes based on specific Canadian Provincial agreements • Assist with registration processes, ERO CORES tool use, registration surveys, questionnaires, and data requests • Participate as a team member in certification activities • Assist with training, education, communication, and outreach materials for NPCC staff and industry stakeholders • Support NPCC Compliance Monitoring and NPCC Enforcement departments as needed • Represent NPCC on ERO entity risk, mitigation, controls, compliance monitoring, and registration task forces, working groups, special projects, and sub-teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Systems or Risk Management; or equivalent combination of education and related electric utility industry experience • Minimum three (3) years of experience for Analyst, or minimum five (5) years for Senior Analyst, in electric maintenance, engineering, system operations, cybersecurity, information security, OT security, risk management, internal audit, compliance, internal controls, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, or operational risk assessment • Knowledge and familiarity with NERC O&P and CIP Reliability Standards and related internal controls • Knowledge and familiarity with NERC/NPCC Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Programs • Ability to analyze information, identify risks and control gaps, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders • Ability to work and travel within the U.S. and travel to Canada • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and contribute in a cross-functional team environment • Ability to sit for long periods and handle extended screen time • Preferred: experience conducting risk assessments, control evaluations, or compliance reviews • Preferred: knowledge of COSO, ISO 31000, NIST, NERC Reliability Standards, and NERC/NPCC programs • Preferred professional certifications: CIA, CRMA, CISA, GICSP, or CISSP
