📋 Description

• Support the fundraising team by coordinating and drafting grant proposals and reports • Develop, write, and submit LOIs, proposals, and reports to prospective and existing funders within assigned deadlines • Maintain proposal and report documentation using the CRM and track all reporting deadlines • Collaborate with program, finance, and administrative staff to gather required data for proposals and reporting • Update grant narratives to reflect community needs, program descriptions, and targeted outcomes • Support other NPower fundraising activities as needed

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of government, foundation, and/or corporate grant writing experience • Excellent writing and proofreading skills • Ability to describe complex concepts or programs in concise yet impactful terms • Track record securing grant awards for six-figure+ grants • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail, accuracy and pacing • Proven ability to implement program data and other supporting research into grant requests • Knowledge of fundraising information sources and research tools • Fundraising experience for one or more of the following fields strongly preferred: workforce development, opportunity young adults, veterans and their families • Ability to work independently while also taking explicit direction from supervisor • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Knowledge of Salesforce or nonprofit CRM database is preferred • Bachelor's degree
